Policy brief & purpose

This company policy includes the measures we are actively taking to mitigate the spread of coronavirus. It’s important that we all respond responsibly and transparently to these health precautions. We assure you that we will always treat your private health and personal data with high confidentiality and sensitivity.

This coronavirus (COVID-19) company policy is susceptible to changes with the introduction of additional governmental guidelines. If so, we will update as soon as possible.

Scope

This coronavirus policy applies to all of our employees who physically work both in our office or out in the field.

Traveling/commuting measures

In-person meetings should be done virtually where possible, especially with non-company parties.

If you normally commute to the office by public transportation and do not have other alternatives, you can request to work from home as a precaution.

Geodesea Ltd employees may be afforded free movement, where appropriate, under the current UK Key Worker definitions:

Transport
Water supplies and sewerage services workers
Specialist technical workers
Offshore oil and gas workers
Environment Agency relating to flood and coastal erosion risk management

Where appropriate, employees shall be issued a letter from the company which includes:

Staff personal details, such as name and address
Geodesea Ltd contact details
What work will be carried out

If issued you with a photo identification, this should be brought to site.

There are three simple actions we must all do to keep on protecting each other

Wash hands

keep washing your hands regularly

Cover face

wear a face covering in enclosed spaces

Make space

stay at least 2 metres apart - or 1 metre with a face covering or other precautions
